I joined Cub Scouts when I was 7, over to Boy Scouts, Troop 88, Perkasie, PA when I achieved the Rank of Life Scout. As an adult I've held the positions of Tiger/Den/ Webelos Leader, Cubmaster, Assistant Scout Master, etc.

My son, Josh was a Life Scout and active in Cub/Boy/Venturing. We are hoping someday my grandson, Ethan, will follow in his, mine (and my dads) footsteps with the Scouting program. My daughter, Krystal is presently attending Lockhaven University persuing a career in physical education. My fiance, Kathy, is very supportive and assists in many of my Scouting activities.

Scouting was and still is a very large part of my everyday life. Many times throughout my position in work I've used the philosophy of Scouting values (Live the Scout Oath/Law).

I've been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to take my Wood Badge Course at Goose Pond, and since then been on Staff for Wood Badge as well as the Powder Horn course.

I look forward to our experience together once again . . .

“Some of the best friends I have made are my Wood Badge Patrol (actually Den) mates. I still communicate with them and we get together occasionally. Wood Badge was a Mountain-top experience for me.”

Wood Badge has been an inpsirational part of my life for a very long time.

Ray & I have been married for 31 years. We have two wonderful children, Mark, an Eagle Scout and Leah, who was very active in Girl Scouts. It has been my pleasure to be a part of Scouting in Bucks County. I have held many, many positions over the years. The space is just not big enough.

I have had the pleasure of working with many Course Directors as they prepare for their courses. You are all indeed very fortunate to have Chris as your leader.

I look foward to getting to know each of you better. Good Scouting, great training. Just doesn't get any better. Look for me in the kitchen during the course ( the "has beens" place on a course).

Just a little information about myself:

I have been married to Mary Fran for 21 years. We have 2 Children My son A.J. is an Eagle Scout and has been my inspiration in Scouting.

I only went as far as my arrow of light and then quit. I never really understood what scouting was until I made my son join. Only to find out that scouting was a part of who I am as a person. Now it is what I do. My Wood Badge experience was amazing NE-II-165. It showed me how to open my mind, to accept new ways of thinking. The course helped me to listen to others and hear what they saying. Wood badge helped me find a renewed commitment to scouting.

I served as Den leader, Assistant Scoutmaster and for the last 5 years or so I have been the Scoutmaster of what I feel is one of the greatest bunch of Scouts and Scouters in Scouting, We total somewhere around 100+.

I am a jester at heart and love to kid around. Start with me, Game on! Let’s enjoy! Life is meant to be fun!

I enjoy cooking, eating, a fine Cigar and the Grateful Dead among other varied interests
